congrats jen!

nanny jen graduated with her masters in counseling today. we are so proud of her, having been with her throughout her two year program and having seen all the work she put into it. i screwed up the parking situation, so audrey and i were wandering around campus during most of the ceremony. but audrey was the first to give her a congratulatory hug when it was all over!

audrey was very loving towards baby jett yesterday. she was also that way towards lauren's niece sophie who came over for a playdate. i think summer school - which she will attend twice a week beginning in june - will be a great way for her to meet new friends and not be overly affectionate/aggressive towards new ones. she seems ready!

the big 0-2

audrey had a wonnnderful second birthday! after her big 1-year-old bash, she decided to be low-key this year and just hang with dede who came into town to celebrate. some highlights from the weekend were her trip to the austin children's museum, her first pedicure (this was NOT part of her b-day plans - more a result of her not napping and joining dede & mama for their appointments), and then dinner and cake at home. what a lucky girl!
