a belated post, but we finally recovered some pix from the cute luncheon at audrey's school. her best friend jacqueline is in the above pic. we call her "little pac" - like mama, like daugher :)

updates

while i'm without photos, i thought i'd post this cute pic of audrey with yet another adoring cousin (lily) along with some updates about what she's been up to lately. she's become quite the little lady and has really come out of her shell since starting school 2 days a week. she's still a little guarded around grownups, but she's a little "leader" among her peers according to her teachers (aw, my heart beams with pride!). she loves being around other kids, especially ones that she can take care of (reading, singing) and boss around (pretend put them down for naps). she's also become a little care taker of me, often telling me she's "so proud of me" and "good job, mom, gimme five!", and at other times putting me in time out. she'll also sometimes say "oh, sorry about that" and has started telling me secrets about christmas, whispering "mom, christmas is coming up!" basically, she's the best kid there is and we're loving every bit of her. we can't wait to get to STL for the holidays to see her cousin vivi, aunts, uncles & grandparents who haven't seen her in months - they won't believe how grown up she's become!
